B&C recommends and installs three main types of gas fireplace accessories. Most fireplaces can only handle certain accessory models, so don’t assume you can just buy anything and expect it to install. When they are compatible, these add-ons can increase energy efficiency, give more flexibility and convenience, and reduce needless frustration.

Important caveat: B&C does not install parts or equipment purchased from a third party. Do not buy from a third party if you want us to install the part. This is the only way we can warranty our service.

Electric Fans: Improve Heating and Efficiency

Some fireplaces can accept fans that will more quickly and efficiently heat your home. Some cannot.

Your first step: Have us come out to make sure your fireplace is wired to allow for a fan. Don’t buy something you can’t install!

Once we figure out which fan will work with your fireplace, we’ll give you a price estimate and availability. We already carry a few common ones in our inventory, and we can order others from our suppliers. Some fans require a special order and take weeks to arrive.

Wireless Fireplace Remotes: Unbeatable Convenience

We have a small selection of remotes on our truck, and access to many more through our distributors.

Fireplace Thermostat: Get Control of the Temperature

Like the fans, this requires wiring which is usually done during the installation of the fireplace. If you’re not sure yours was wired for a thermostat, we can come out and take a quick look.
